Gordon Creek Student Council Donates to Local Animal Shelter

During the month of January, the GC Student Council collected pennies for a fundraiser called "Pennies for Pets". After only 3 week of collecting the school raised $1630.08. All of the money was donated to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter. The Student Council met with a representative from the animal shelter and learned how they can help out at the shelter. The Student Council members were all surprised and excited to learn there is a spot for elementary students to volunteer at the shelter. Congratulations to all of the Gordon Creek students for their fundraising efforts.
