Author Maddy Zanetti and friends from the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame visited Gordon Creek

With Off to the Races as our PARP theme this year we are so fortunate to have resources so close by.  On March 14th, local author Maddy Zanetti came and talked about the books she has written and about her miniature horse named Upset! The students loaded Maddy with questions about her writing, her wonderful stories and about her horse. They were left wondering if they would be see Upset through the streets of Saratoga Springs or if he would make an appearance at Gordon Creek!

On March 25th, representatives from the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, Matt & Madeline, talked to the students about the Museum, it's artifacts, and the many deserving, race horses, jockeys and owners that are recognized in the Racing Hall of Fame. They got to make their own racing trophy. Thank you Matt for helping us to make this happen!
