Third Graders Participate in SPAC Dance Residency

For the first time at Gordon Creek students participated in the Saratoga Performing Arts Center's dance residency. After the ten week program, the 3rd graders amazed the school with their dance moves in a school-wide performance. Each of the third grade classes performed their own unique dance to the theme, Dial UP the 90s. A special appearance of over 40 of GC’s staff members surprised the audience by performing in a group dance of their own.  With the help of Carey Hargadon, GC’s art teacher, 3rd graders designed their t-shirts and cover art for the program.  Alicia Esposito, GC's music teacher, guided the students in a song performance in the finale.  Parents and family members enjoyed an evening performance to celebrate the hard work of their children.
