Report Cards
Throughout the school year students are assessed regularly through formal tests, quizzes, and projects, and informally through homework, daily observation, contributions to classroom discussions, checklists, etc. The classroom teacher uses these formal and informal assessments to communicate to parents the progress their child is making toward specific grade level standards.
Students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade receive three report cards during the school year. Elementary report cards are sent home in November, March, and June. Specific dates for the close of each trimester are listed on the district calendar.
